An Oldsmobile Ninety Eight is wedged up against a guardrail Friday morning in San de Fuca. Coupeville resident Earl Darst was driving south on Penn Cove Road when he lost his brakes and ran up the guardrail blocking the road from Highway 20, according to Trooper David Martin of the Washington State Patrol.
