Wind cancels ferry to Port Townsend

Weather conditions canceled Coupeville ferry Wednesday morning.
Due to windy conditions, the 11:15 a.m. sailing from Port Townsend and the noon sailing from Coupeville have been canceled.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a 40 percent chance of showers Wednesday with northwest winds between 21 and 29 mph with gusts reaching 40 mph.
Vehicles and passengers are advised to take the Edmonds/Kingston or Mukilteo/Clinton as alternate routes.
