Island County Civic Service position open

The Island County commissioners are seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Civil Service Commission.

Commission members serve six year terms. The commission consists of three members plus a secretary/chief examiner. Duties and responsibilities may be found in Chapter 2.12 of the Island County Code and RCW 41.14.060.

The commission meets the second Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room in Coupeville.
