Sunday, Aug. 14
At 4:03 p.m., a caller reported that people were inside boarded-up apartments on Scheer Lane.
At 5:40 p.m., a woman reported that a neighbor on Carl Avenue has a pitbull that is frequently loose. She said the dog was in her yard and growling.
Saturday, Aug. 13
At 11:27 a.m., a caller reported that a log splitter and lumber were stolen from a property on Highway 20.
At 8:21 p.m., a caller reported that a man assaulted his wife and punched the caller’s car on Newell Drive.
Friday, Aug. 12
At 8:37 a.m., the driver of a white convertible reported hitting a piece of metal in a construction area on Highway 20 and Holbrook Road. The caller reported that the metal tore up the front of his car and flattened a tire.
At 10:19 a.m., a caller reported that wood was stolen from a property on Hill Road.
At 12:12 p.m., a Monkey Hill Road resident reported an ongoing problem with a neighbor’s two dogs chasing animals.
At 11:48 p.m., a Jacobs Road resident reported that people were camping at a nearby property without permission.
Thursday, Aug. 11
At 12:33 a.m., a Power Road resident reported that a pipe to a well may have been cut.
At 1:51 p.m., a San Juan Street resident reported that a neighbor was throwing food over the fence.
At 4:23 p.m., there was a report that a dog was being beaten on Ocean View Drive.
At 9:36 p.m., a West Beach Road reported that a vehicle drove through a neighbor’s yard and hit a fence. The caller said a juvenile was out of the car and appeared fine.
Wednesday, Aug. 10
At 12:04 a.m., a woman reported that someone hacked her Facebook account.
At 8:41 a.m., a caller reported that a friend told him that he was snooping around a property on Henni Road and saw two skeletons that “may be monkeys because they had no thumbs.” The man said he saw a child’s skeleton under some boards. The caller also told a deputy who responded that he was going to the U.S. Marshal’s Office because he had new technologies to track satellites. The deputy determined the caller may have been under the influence.
At 12:40 p.m., a caller reported finding a metal container holding toys, paper and “other child-type things” down on old path in Rhododendron Park.
At 1:50 p.m., a caller reported finding a large set of tools on Hawks Prairie Road.
At 5:31 p.m., a caller at a Highway 20 location reported that his girlfriend hit him with a golf club.
Tuesday, Aug. 9
At 9:34 a.m., a Noisey Circle resident reported problems “with numerous neighborhood pets defecating in her yard.”
At 1:30 p.m., a caller reported that someone smashed out the window of a truck parked at a trailhead at the end of Ducken Road. The thief took her handbag and the blanket that was covering it.
At 2:35 p.m., a caller reported that a pregnant woman threw a fan at her mother on Oak Harbor Road.
Monday, Aug. 8
At 10:51 a.m., a Madrona Way resident reported concern for a neighbor’s Irish wolfhound that’s tethered outside.
At 3:56 p.m., a caller reported that a man swerved his car and tried to hit a boy on Alamo Way.
At 6:58 p.m., a man reported that his daughter was almost attacked by a very aggressive dog on Hunter Lane.
Sunday, Aug. 7
At 2:59 p.m., a Park Avenue resident reported that his neighbor’s two aggressive pitbulls are in his yard and he’s worried about the safety of his family.
At 6:19 p.m., a caller reported that theft of crab pots off Snakelum Point Road.
Saturday, Aug. 6
At 3:44 p.m., a Golf Course Road resident reported that a neighbor’s pitbull was loose on her property.
At 9:55 p.m., a caller reported that a waitress at a Goldie Road bar smelled of marijuana and was going behind the bar to smoke.

At 2:07 a.m., a caller reported a woman was bleeding from her head at a N. Oak Harbor Street location.
Wednesday, Aug. 17
At 12:59 p.m., a SW Putnam Drive resident reported a woman came to the door trying to sell vacuums.
At 7:51 a.m., a SE Regatta Drive resident reported someone slashed car tires.
Tuesday, Aug. 16
At 5:29 p.m., a caller reported a 5-year-old girl was knocked out after falling off the monkey bars at a SE City Beach Street location.
At 12:39 p.m., a caller reported a “skanky bleached blond female” soliciting at a NW Dory Drive location.
At 10:43 a.m., a caller reported a man sleeping behind a S. Beeksma Drive building.
At 7:35 a.m., a caller reported two vehicles pulled into a SW Waterloo Drive location. A man got out of one of the cars and swung a bat at the front window of the other car. Both vehicles left.
Monday, Aug. 15
At 4:20 p.m., a caller reported a couple of kids were trying to kick the walls out of the dugouts at the SE Bayshore Drive ball fields.
Sunday, Aug. 14
At 1:04 p.m., a caller reported a woman was threatening a man with a knife at a SE City Beach Street location.
At 8:06 a.m, a N. Oak Harbor Street resident reported someone left a guinea pig inside a box on the hood of a truck.
Saturday, Aug. 13
At 7:05 p.m.,a caller reported a dumpster ablaze at Hillcrest Elementary School.
At 11:16 a.m., a Highway 20 resident reported her ex-husband was harassing her.
At 8:05 a.m., a caller reported a domesticated duck was quacking in the backyard of a SE Fourth Avenue home. The home’s owners aren’t home often enough to have a pet duck.
Friday, Aug. 12
At 9:56 p.m., a caller reported hearing six or seven gunshots near the intersection of E. Whidbey Avenue and NE Midway Boulevard.
At 7:50 p.m., a caller reported someone cooked crab and threw it down a manhole on SW Eighth Avenue.
At 17:29 p.m., a caller reported catching someone stealing beer at a SW Erie Street business.
At 4:33 p.m., a caller reported brothers fighting at a NW 10th Court location.
At 8:50 a.m., a NW Quarterdeck Loop resident inquired what recourse is available to stop someone stealing crabs out of someone else’s crab pots.
At 6:59 a.m., a SW Quinault Street resident reported someone stole a wallet out of a car.
