Sailings will resume at noon on Clinton-Mukilteo route | UPDATE
July 20, 2011 · Updated 11:00 AM
The Clinton-Mukilteo ferry route will be back in service at noon Wednesday.
The route was shut down after 9 a.m. today after an electrical malfunction on the transfer span at the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal.
The transfer span has since been repaired, and Washington State Ferries is working to get both ferries back on schedule. The M/V Kittitas is still in Edmonds, but is expected back on the Clinton-Mukilteo route starting with the afternoon sailings.
Most travelers waiting for the ferry in Clinton this morning have left the terminal. There were only 14 cars left in the lot just before 11 a.m.
