Dec 11 2012, 3:11 PM First we would like to thank the person who put a Christmas wreath on our fence at the beginning of our driveway on Cultus Bay Road and also placed one on our neighbor’s fence as they did last year. What a wonderful gift in the spirit of the season. God bless you, whoever you are. Second, to the person who stole our wreath and a day later stole our neighbor’s, shame on you! You’re what we call “island idiots.”

Our fundraiser was a complete success and we are sold out of trees. By buying your Christmas tree from the Lions, you have made it possible for those in the community to have a better quality of life through free health screenings, eye and ear exams, eyeglasses and hearing aids, the loan of medical equipment, scholarships and home access ramps.
