Inclement weather cancels sailings on ferry route

High winds and rough seas are prompting Washington State Ferries officials to cancel several Friday sailings on the Port Townsend to Coupeville route.
The 5:15 p.m. sailings from Port Townsend and the 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and the 6 p.m. sailings from Coupeville have been canceled, according to an alert from Washington State Ferries.
