Lake Forest Park couple celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Dave and Marilyn Nienhuis celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married July 30, 1960 at Ballard First Lutheran Church. They have lived in Lake Forest Park for more than 40 years. They are enjoying their retirement with friends and family as well as camping and traveling.

They have four daughters and sons-in-law and 14 grandchildren. Most of their time is spent watching all the grandkids in their various sports and other activities.

The daughters will be hosting a 50th party in Shoreline and the family will continue the celebration in Chelan at Wapato Point next week. Congratulations Mom and Dad! You have given us a great role model for marriage and family, and for that we are forever grateful for that gift.
