A playhouse to help Island County 4-H Club is ready for raffling.

“This awesome playhouse was built by South Whidbey Home Builders and donated to Island County 4-H to raise funds for the program,” said Sara Bergquist, program coordinator for 4-H Youth Development with WSU/Island County Extension.

“It would make not only a great playhouse, but it could also be a garden shed, a ‘tiny’ house for guests, a meditation room, a tool shed, or anything else you can imagine,” Bergquist said.

Bergquist describes the playhouse as “beautifully constructed, with live-edge wood trim, a split door, custom windows and a beautiful shingled roof. It comes complete with four log seats to get your first club house meeting started!”

This item will be raffled off at the Skagit/Island County Builders’ Association Home and Garden Show March 24 at the Skagit Valley Fairgrounds. Raffle ticket holders do not need be present to win.

The house was on display at Pro-Build at Ken’s Corner until Thursday when it was moved to Skagit County for the show.

Tickets cost $5 each, with only 999 available to improve one’s chances of winning this little house.

Tickets may be purchased from 4-H’ers, Pro-Build at Ken’s Corner in Clinton, the Cooperative Extension Office, Toby’s Restaurant in Coupeville, or Skagit Farmers  Supply in Oak Harbor, as well as at the home and garden show taking place from March 22-24.

Call Bergquist or Pam Bishop at the Extension office at 360-240-5558.
