Popp to marry native Californian in July

The engagement of Oak Harbor native Sean A. Popp and Anne C. Whittington of Murrieta, Calif., was celebrated at the home of the future bride’s uncle and aunt, Dr. Joe and Jo Ann Schneider of Riverside, Calif., in late October.

Anne is the daughter of Madeline Whittington of Murrieta and retired Navy Cmdr. Jim Whittington of La Jolla, Calif.  Sean is the son of Kathy Popp of Oak Harbor and Anthony Popp of Oak Harbor.

Their wedding is in July 2013 at St. Martha’s Catholic Church in Murrieta, with a reception at South Coast Winery.
