Lanny and Diane Nienhuis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 20.

They were married in 1962 in Harbor City, Calif. and moved to Oak Harbor in 1963. Lanny and Diane raised their three children in Oak Harbor and have nine grandchildren.

Lanny has worked for Koetje Coldwell Banker since 1978. The happy couple will be honored on their special day by their family at a party celebrating their 50 years together.
