Christian Science chats about depression | Religion Notes
April 6, 2012 · Updated 2:54 PM
An audio chat Tuesday Tuesday, April 10, starts at 11 a.m. at the Christian Science Reading Room, 721 SW 20th Court, across from the Scenic Heights Trailhead.
Through the ages, biblical figures and other leaders have had moments of mourning, depression and even despair. At one such time, Daniel was comforted by an angel who told him, “O man, greatly beloved, fear not; peace be unto thee: be strong, yea, be strong” (Daniel 10:19). And Christ Jesus healed people who today would be considered suffering from mental illness.
