The 2011 Spoiled Dog Contest winner will be introduced Sunday, Nov. 20, at “Yappy Hour,” from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Taste for Wine Tasting Room at Bayview Corner Cash Store.

This year’s winner, Tag, a miniature long haired Dachshund, has his own stroller because he gets hot and tired on long walks.

Spoiled Dog Winery’s annual competition includes dogs from across Whidbey Island and the United States.

Examples of spoiled dogs are, “a dog who has his own stroller because he gets hot and tired on long walks, a dog with a memory foam bed and a dog who uses her ‘brother’ as her pillow and heat blanket, just to name a few,” said Karen Krug, owner of Spoiled Dog Winery.

Meet the contestants, taste wine and view the “Hundred Bucks Show,” featuring affordable art in a variety of media, at Taste for Wine.
