Divorce Care for separation pain

Whidbey Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a Divorce Care seminar/workshop beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7 for 13 weeks. The workshop is from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Blue House located west of the main building at 1148 SE Eighth Ave., Oak Harbor. Registration is $25 payable at the church office. Scholarships are available. The program is designed to help those suffering the pain of separation. For information please call Cori Siggins at the church office 679-3579.

Church members recall labors

Unitarian Universalist of Whidbey Island members will talk about their experience of spiritual values and how these values informed their work life Sunday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. All are welcome. Children’s religious exploration classes and childcare will be provided. The building is located at 20103 Highway 525, just north of Freeland. Visit www.whidbey.com/uucwi for more information.

Presbyterians return to normal

The regular schedule of Whidbey Presbyterian Church will begin Sept. 12, with contemporary worship at 9:30 a.m. and traditional worship at 11 a.m. Sunday mornings.

Child care is available, and church school classes for all ages. For more information, please call Andrea Bakke at the church office 679-3579. The sanctuary choir will offer praise to God at the 11 a.m. service. All are welcome.
