Editor,

I read with interest, many of the news-worthy/cringy articles on the recent Naval Air Station Whidbey Island pilots drawing pictures in the sky with their planes. I guess I just don’t understand the outrage at a couple of dedicated military members honoring their commander in chief with such an accurate depiction of him. I would be honored; I mean, they used planes and it’s way better than I did with an etch-a-sketch. Kudos.
