Skies aren’t so friendly with United

Editor,

What’s up with the “friendly skies” of United Airlines? Taking a paying customer, or rather dragging a doctor off a plane, simply because they wanted their staff to have a seat. I’m sure they could have found staff in Louisville to resolve the problem but instead treated a paying customer like a bag of garbage.

What happened to the days when staff waited for an empty seat to travel, for whatever reason, and paying customers were treated with respect? Unbelievable.

Over booking is the airline’s problem and should not affect the passengers, especially when already on the plane in a seat.

I would think twice about booking with United if they think so little of their customers. Shameful.
