Recently learned that Coupeville Festival Association gives back to local causes

Editor,

Coupeville has many wonderful nonprofit organizations serving the community.

Something I didn’t know, but have come to realize the last few years, is that proceeds from the Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival are returned to many of these organizations in the form of grants dispersed each year which promote cultural, historical and artistic projects. The Pacific Rim Institute is grateful to have received one of the grants this year.

With hundreds of volunteers putting in thousands of hours, decade after decade, the festival passed its Golden Anniversary a few years ago.

This year they invested over $40,000 into our community from revenue generated from the work of the association and volunteers.

Thank you to the volunteer board and to all those who invest their labor and funds into our quality of life. I’m sure they can always use more volunteers as well. If you want to make a difference, contact them at 360-678-5116 or info@coupevillefestival.com
