It’s great to be back home after 30-plus years of a long life’s trail of stories. But, I feel the need to say that home certainly isn’t what it used to be.

City Beach — AKA – Windjammer Park — is a mess, prices are higher here than most of the places I’ve lived over the past 30 years including Hawaii and the restaurants are very limited in their venue — pizza, Asian or Mexican, what’s it going to be tonight?

We no longer have a public swimming pool, rent is through the roof. I could go on, but I’ll stop. I’m just happy to be back on this wonderful Island and be lucky enough to find a good paying job here to allow me to stay.
