Editor,
The April 14 edition of the Whidbey News-Times advised the public that the big new sewage plant has now reached a cost of $147 million, and I assume it will continue to climb.
That is a 77 percent increase over the $83 million that was first cited in the News-Times.
I would like to see special counsel Robert Mueller take a break from the Trump-Russian investigation and make a visit to Oak Harbor and ask a few questions and get answers to those questions.
Saturday, April 21, I saw a pickup truck with a big sign, “America has the best politicians that money can buy — Will Rogers.”
Rogers and Mueller might have made a good team.
