Letter: Disheartened by editorial cartoon on Trump, his wall

Editor,

It was disheartening that, when I opened the Whidbey News-Times Saturday, the first thing I saw was a very disrespectful cartoon of our president.

At the same time, there were funeral services on T.V. for a policeman, Col. Singh who was killed by an illegal alien who came through our partially protected border.

For the sake of safety and sensibility, we need a barrier to help our country start work for a legal immigration system reform. We need immigrants who respect the rule of law and come to this country legally.

Yes, drones and modern technology are good, but a barrier with them will accomplish more.
