I would like to thank Ed Hickey for his Jan. 25 letter to the editor. He gives an outstanding example of those who believe in the theory of “alternative facts” as exemplified by the maximum leader and his coterie of brownshirts in DC.

I believe that CNN did exactly the same thing as the FBI in sending out information that had not been vetted.

Both were sent out to show what was “out there” to inform whomever.

I wonder if the letter writer also subscribes to the crowd size as stated by Trump or the lying eyes of the public or to the thousands of people in Jersey City cheering the building implosion on 9-11.

What about the investigation by Trump into the “birther” issue by his crack team of investigators in Hawaii.

I wonder if that same group of gumshoes will investigate the millions of illegal voting claimed by Trump.

In closing: Are lies or delusions going to run the country, and which is worse?
