CDC censoring words bad for democracy

Editor,

The seven censored CDC words never to be used again …

These are trying days for our country and for all of us.

We feel VULNERABLE watching the pillars of our democracy being dissolved.

We are losing our well-earned ENTITLEMENTS and the cultivation of our shared DIVERSITY.

We all have friends and family, TRANSGENDER and gay.

We support our grandchildren planning for the day that a FETUS becomes a son or daughter.

And we all realize that we must move forward in understanding and making the world a better place through well substantiated theories of EVIDENCE-BASED and SCIENCE-BASED approaches to science and medicine that will continue to improve life.

The madness must stop.
