ANNE SMIDT, SUSANNE NEWBOLD and MOE JEROME are the featured artists for June at the Whidbey Art Gallery in Langley. Smidt has worked in encaustics since 2006. Her artwork includes two-and-three dimensional work, encaustic monoprints and encaustic bookmaking. Newbold uses gourds, leather dyes, acrylic paint, fiber, sea grass, pine needles and other objects to create organic vessels.
