Raven Rocks Gallery presents the third annual “Artists in Love” show, featuring the art of Mary Jo Oxrieder and Windwalker Taibi, Feb. 5 through April 4.

An opening reception, located at the Greenbank Farm, will be held Friday, Feb. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The owners of Raven Rocks Gallery, Mary Jo Oxrieder and Windwalker Taibi, consider February to be their month, a time focused on love, and are the featured artists this month.

In celebration of their love and passion for each other and their art, they are filling their spaces with hearts of all kinds. Mary Jo will present her latest handmade greeting cards, whimsical “Love Tree” paintings, mixed media beaded hearts, love poetry plaques and plush fabric hearts. Windwalker’s latest, “Ravens in Love” paintings will be debuted alongside his new series of mixed media works entitled, “For the Love of Ravens” and his new line of necklaces for 2010. Joining the party will be new heart themed bookmarks by Larkin Van Horn and the exquisite ceramic “pod” jars of the gallery’s newest artist Denise Krueger of Portland, Ore.

The gallery will also be extending its January showing of the paintings of Deon Matzen, Stan Gabelein and Richard Engstrom through February, and as always, featuring the latest and favorite works of all the resident artists.
