On Friday, May 22, at 7:45 a.m., the Oak Harbor Christian School class taught by Ms. Julie Fakkema will be named AM 570 KVI’s Pledge Friday Class of the Week.

Kirby & Company will announce and play audio from the winning class live during their morning show at 7:45. Plus, KVI will make a visit and throw a classroom party for Oak Harbor Christian School, located at 675 E Whidbey Ave.

Each student will receive a goodie bag full of prizes, the school will receive a personalized plaque and the teacher will receive a sight-seeing trip from Kenmore Air.

“Pledge Friday Class of the Week” is KVI’s 12-week program that recognizes the schools, teachers and classes who stress the importance of teaching children the heritage of the United States and the significance of reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
