A fundraising concert featuring singer Austin Jenckes will be performed Saturday night at the Roller Barn in Oak Harbor.

Jenckes, who recently was featured on the NBC TV singing competition, “The Voice,” will perform the solo concert at 7:30 p.m.

The 25-year-old singer and songwriter from Duvall is described as a folk-rock power singer.

Jenckes made it all the way to the “live rounds.”

The concert is a fundraiser for the Oak Harbor Music Festival, which takes place Aug. 29-31.

This will be the third year of the music festival, which takes place on Pioneer Way in downtown Oak Harbor.

The festival was originally known as the Oak Harbor Music and Jazz Festival, but the name was shortened.

More than 20 bands from across the nation performed at last year’s festival, which was also a fundraiser for a music scholarship fund.

Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com

They are $25 at the door.
