Dillingers Clambake performs Saturday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. at Smith Barn on Ebeys Prairie. Last years evening in the barn was so succesful, the crowd encouraged Concerts on the Cove to do it again. Sit and listen or enjoy an evening of dancing. While the Dillinger's Clambake has only been together since early 1999, the core of the band (without the horn section) has been playing for over 10 years all over Western Washington. Dillinger's is known for its superb instrumentalists and most of the members sing too. Jeff Hume (Coupeville resident and Oak Harbor teacher) and Vince Fejeran (Skagit Community Band Director) are the arrangers. Since Smith barn is on Ebey's Prairie, bring a jacket, a blanket to put on hay bales or a couple of lawn chairs. Follow the signs west of Coupeville on Highway 20. Adult tickets ($5.00) will be sold at the door.
