Chris and Meredith Thompson will be performing Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Coupeville High School Performing Arts Center.

Chris and Meredith, who have won many musical honors in the New England/New York areas, are one of the most promising acts on today's accoustical/folk scene. Best known for the blend of their nearly identical voices, the Thompsons weave vocals, flute, guitar and percussion to create a sound that is beautiful, powerful and compelling. The Thompsons link music and stories together to create an engaging animated performance that captures audiences. Chris plays folk and jazz influenced guitar. Meredith plays Latin influenced rhythms on congas and adds soaring flute to their sound. The blend of their twin voices is breathtaking.

These identical twin sisters have been together for 27 years and have honed their musical performance so that their harmonies are impeccable, and their rhythms and phrases aligned.

Presented by Concerts on the Cove, advance tickets are $8 adults and $4. Tickets are available at Daily Grind and Wind & Tide book store in Oak Harbor; Coupeville Pharmacy, Videoville and Great Times in Coupeville; BookBay in Freeland, and Moonraker in Langley. Tickets at the door will be $10 for adults and $5 for students.
