Volunteers sought for field school

The Trust Board of Ebey’s Landing is looking for volunteers to participate in its Seventh Annual Field School.

This year’s field school will see volunteers working to preserve the historic structure located at the end of the Coupeville Wharf, which is owned by the Port of Coupeville. Volunteers will work alongside preservation carpenters from the National Park Service to complete the project.

Participants will learn hands-on preservation techniques and learn about the maritime history of Coupeville.

The field school goes from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, July 22 through Thursday July 5 and Monday, July 29 through Thursday, Aug. 1.
