Seattle native GAY SHUELL will host June’s First Friday event at Garry Oak Gallery in Oak Harbor.

Meet Shuell from 5-7 p.m. on June 7, and enjoy a personal viewing of the artist’s gourd artwork. Chocolates and refreshments will also be offered. Shuell says gourds are classified a wood.
