Adults encouraged to read throughout the summer

Summer and great books. What could be better? Share your summer reads and win big at the Oak Harbor Library by writing book reviews of your favorite titles. Write five book reviews and win a $5 Whidbey Coffee card, donated by the Friends of the Oak Harbor Library. Read with your child, grandchild or on your own.

Sno-Isle wants to hear about all the books you love. Submit reviews online at or at the library.

In addition, Sno-Isle Libraries will choose one “Reader of the Week” each week for seven weeks. If your review is selected, they’ll help you create a special booklist for the library website, and you’ll be featured on your own poster. Prizes are provided by the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation. All reviews will also be entered in a drawing for a grand prize, a Nook Tablet eReader, and a runner-up prize, a Nook eReader.

The best written review, selected by Sno-Isle Libraries Reader’s Advisory Team, will also win a Nook Tablet.

Summer reading for adults runs June 1 through Aug. 15. See some great new books suggestions at
