Whidbey Reads meets author Haupt

Meet award winning writer Lyanda Lynn Haupt, the featured author for Whidbey Reads 2012, at three locations this week.
Her first visit will be on Wednesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island, 20103 Highway 525, Freeland.
On Thursday, April 19, Haupt will be at the Coupeville Library at 2 p.m., then at the Oak Harbor Library at 7 p.m.
Haupt is the author of “Crow Planet: Essential Wisdom from the Urban Wilderness,” the Whidbey Reads book for 2012. Whidbey Reads is a Whidbey Island-wide program offering a variety of free activities corresponding with the chosen book.
Book sales and signing will take place after Haupt’s presentation.
These free library programs are funded by Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation, the Whidbey Island Friends of the Library groups, Whidbey Book Groups, Walmart and Whidbey Island Bank.
