February 14, 2012 · 2:22 PM
Can you make your voice sound like a crazy rabbit? How about a raging queen or a headless soldier? Penn Cove Productions is hosting auditions Friday, Feb. 17, 6:30 p.m., at the Pacific NorthWest Art School in Coupeville for “Postcards from Whidbey Island.”
The March show is among the most ambitious to date with the theme “Adventures in Wonderland.” It highlights an original 1937 old-time radio play of “Alice in Wonderland.”
This March 10 and 11 production will need 25 different character voices.
“Postcards” is a monthly radio variety show performed in front of a live audience and aired on www.KWPAradio.org.
