Zombie rehearsal date set

The Oak Harbor High School Choir Club and Media Arts Club, with help from the Boys and Girls Club, invite the community to join in as zombie dancers in their islandwide music video, “Thrill the Island.”

This take on the music video “Thriller” will be filmed in March, but to participate, zombies must attend a dance workshop Saturday, Feb. 25, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Oak Harbor High School gym. Anyone on Whidbey Island is invited; no experience needed.

The music video will be filmed March 10 from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Pioneer Way in Oak Harbor.

Look for the students handing out flyers by Saars and Safeway in Oak Harbor and see the students at the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the windmill March 17.

For information and dance moves, find “Thrill the Island” on Facebook or call choir director Darren McCoy at 279-5829.
