Free workshops at Shanty Fest

Shanty Fest is this weekend at the Greenbank Farm. Enjoy five free workshops at the Whidbey Island Shanty Fest, which has been postponed to Saturday, Feb. 18 due to the weather.

Workshops are: Little Shifties Singalong for children, led by the Shifty Sailors, 1 p.m.; Women and the Sea, led by Chris Roe, Wendy Joseph and Jan Glanister, 1:45 p.m.; Adult Song Circle, led by the Shifty Sailors, 2:30 p.m.; Storytelling, led by Captain John Stone and Roger Sherman, 3:30 p.m.; Sharing in Different Ways, 4:15 p.m. Workshops and the concert, set for 6:30 p.m., will be held at the Greenbank Farm.
