Library offers the perfect gift

Find an exciting book for even the hardest person on your list through the Gift Book Gala, presented at the Oak Harbor Library on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m.

This reader’s advisory service was created by Kara Fox and Jane Lopez-Santillana to help people discover books that make good gifts. The gala includes a mix of fiction and nonfiction titles published in 2011 for adults, teens and children that are available in local bookstores and at the library.

Copies of the list are available at Whidbey libraries.

“What better gift than the pleasure of receiving the perfect book? And this list includes something for each and every person on your holiday list,” said Lopez-Santillana in a press release.
