VFW Auxiliary seeks auction items

Whitehead-Muzzall VFW Ladies Auxiliary is preparing for “We Serve, Because They Served,” their annual fundraising auction. Donations are needed to help raise funds for veterans’ assistance and community service programs.

The auction evening is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5.

Donations of goods, services, gift baskets, and gently used or new items are appreciated.

The Ladies Auxiliary provides and supports vital programs in the Whidbey Island community. Services includes the annual Senior Christmas Party, military care packages, scholarships, youth essay programs, holiday baskets for families in need and support for veterans hospitals.

Businesses or individuals who donate by Oct. 20 will be featured in the Auction Catalog and advertising. Donations are tax-deductible. Any business, group or individual who would like to donate may contact Auction Coordinator Amy Hannold, 675-2338 or hannolds@comcast.net.
