Rotary Club of North Whidbey awards students

The Rotary Club of North Whidbey Island Sunrise recently presented eight $1,000 scholarships to Skagit Valley College Whidbey Island Campus students including:

The first annual Seth Scholarship awarded to David Glenn Jr., who also won a Bill and Kathy Massey Scholarship and the Del Tillotson Scholarship.  Shelly Ennis won the Sande Crank-Mulkey Scholarship, as well as a Bill and Kathy Massey and a Whidbey Women Return to Work Scholarship.

Community Service Scholarships were awarded to Andre Nelson and Cam Phelps; Phelps also won a Katherine Crowles Scholarship. The President’s Scholarship was awarded to Cullen Sedgwick who also received a Bill and Kathy Massey Scholarship and a Foundation Physical and Life Sciences Scholarship.

 

The Herb Carter scholarship was awarded to Michael Bump and Kyle Lancaster was awarded the Dorothy Carter Scholarship along with the Al Rawnick Memorial and Whidbey/So.Whidbey Foundation Scholarships. Lancaster also won the Yates Award.
