The Whidbey Playhouse has completed its casting for “The Philadelphia Story,” directed by Mary Lou Chandler.

Tara Hizon plays the role of Tracy Lord, the divorced socialite torn between three men on the eve of her wedding. Opposite her is Dustin Amundson as Tracy’s mischievous ex-husband Dexter. Playing the role of the cynical reporter Mike Connor is Jim Reynolds, with Rachael Grove as photographer Liz Imbrie and Joel Green as Tracy’s up-from-the-bottom fiancé George Kitteridge.

In the roles of Tracy’s family are Norm Boynton as the Uncle Willie, Robert Foster as her conspiratorial brother Sandy, Tamra Sipes as her dignified mother Margaret, Bobby Hammonds as her errant father Seth and Honour Rische as her sister Dinah. Rusty Hendrix plays the family servant Phoebe, and Alan Schell plays Mac the Night Watchman and Parson Parsons.
