This December, the Saratoga Chamber Orchestra and Whidbey Island Center for the Arts will present “Gloria! The Many Moods of Christmas.”

Orchestra member Kim Tinuviel said the show is special because it truly represents the island’s talent.

“We are a professional ensemble comprised of experienced professional musicians primarily from Whidbey Island,” she said. “We are committed to performing virtually all of our programs on both north and south Whidbey and showcasing the professionalism of island musicians.”

She said part of the orchestra’s mission is to “collaborate with other artistic disciplines to augment and enhance the concert experience,” so the members are excited to work with the WICA conservatory choirs.

The two shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7, and Wednesday, Dec. 8. Tuesday’s show will be held at the Langley Middle School auditorium while Wednesday’s will be at Oak Harbor High School. Tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for seniors/military and $12 for students. They can be purchased by calling 1-800-638-7631 or 360-221-8268.
