Habitat for Humanity of Island County and Saratoga Community Housing are holding a kickoff celebration for Habitat House 22 on Monday, March 8, at 5 p.m.
The organization’s 22nd house will be built in partnership with the Brown family in the Frostad Pond Development located off SW 24th Avenue.
Habitat for Humanity is partnering with Saratoga Community Housing on the Frostad Pond Homes. This joint venture was made possible through the generosity of Bill and Kathy Massey of Oak Harbor.
“Their unwavering support of low-income housing has assisted both organizations in acquiring the land and resources necessary to provide housing critical to our community, states a Habitat news release.
The Frostad Pond houses will become home to one Habitat for Humanity family and three households selected by Saratoga Community Housing.
