Scholarships from Coupeville arts festival available

The Coupeville Festival Association is pleased to request applicants for four $1,000 scholarships. The scholarships have been named in honor of longtime festival volunteers and in recognition of their years of dedicated service:

• Linda Lee Martens Scholarship

• Mary Jo Eisenmann Scholarship

• Ken Jampsa Scholarship

• Del Bennett Scholarship

The scholarships are available to students of any age who reside in the 98239 community and/or have previously volunteered with the Coupeville Festival Association and/or the Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival.

Preference will be shown to previous festival volunteers. Completed scholarship applications must be submitted no later than April 23. Scholarship awards will be announced in June.

The Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival will be held Aug. 14 and 15.

The Coupeville Festival Association is the nonprofit parent organization of the Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival.

All proceeds from the Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival are annually donated back to the 98239 community in the form of grants and scholarships.
