Mairead Eileen Magorrian and Mitchell W. Kinney were joined in marriage on Sept. 26, 2009. The event took place at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine. Pastor Angel Esquivel of Living Word Fellowship in Oak Harbor officiated the ceremony.

The outdoor ceremony was blessed with sunshine as guests gathered on the terrace overlooking the bay. Mairead’s maid of honor was long-time friend Cecilia Speer. Her bridesmaids included Makesha Kinney, sister of the groom, Anna DeArrieta, Melissa Balsley and Marquesa DeMaria, all friends of the bride and groom.

Mitch’s best man was long-time friend Drew Kocher. His groomsmen included his brother Tim Gavin, Mairead’s brother Matthew Magorrian and friends Tighe Howden and Robert Birch. The ceremony was followed by a cocktail reception and dinner.

The newlyweds flew out the next day for a honeymoon on Kauai. Mairead is the daughter of Sean and Anita Magorrian of Oak Harbor. She is a 2005 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. Mitch is the son of Ms. Anna Gavin of Everett. He is a 2001 graduate of Arlington High School. The couple now reside in Duvall. Special thanks to Ryan Nowicki and Captured Moments for the beautiful pictures.
