Les and Eva Jean Cross will celebrate their 60th Anniversary Thursday, Aug. 14. Oak Harbor residents for 48 years, Les and Eva Jean were married in 1948 in Kalispell, Mont. Les taught school for many years and was the director of city recreation. Eva Jean worked for 34 years as a school clerical professional. They are blessed with four children, 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. There will be a family celebration in honor of their six decades of marriage.
