On Broadway Dance Academy’s competition dance teams participated in a dance convention/competition with Hollywood Dance Experience in Seattle the weekend of Oct. 27 and 28.

The junior and senior teams, which consisted of 11 girls, took dance classes from professional choreographers and dance instructors for two days and competed in a competition with over 100 numbers.

Between the two teams, the academy brought home four Platinums, four High Golds, seven Golds and one Silver. The students also brought home a Judge’s Special award for unique prop and choreography.

At the end of the weekend, dance scholarships were awarded to individuals for outstanding work and dance. A scholarship was awarded to Hollie Dunn. She won a free weekend of dance at her choice of any Hollywood Dance Experience.
