Jansen earns tutor spot at Northwestern College | People and Places

JENNIFER JANSEN is serving as a tutor for the 2012–13 school year at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.

Tutors offer support to students in a variety of academic disciplines, including math, science and writing. Tutors are selected by professors for their content knowledge and ability to assist other students with the material. They are also trained by academic support professionals. In addition to providing one-to-one services, tutors facilitate study groups and test review sessions.

Jansen is a senior and is majoring in elementary education at Northwestern College. She offers tutoring services in science and nursing.

Jansen is the daughter of Dwayne and Debra Jansen of Oak Harbor.
