It’s the mother of all garage sales in Langley

HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center is  presenting its annual “Mother of All Garage Sales” at the American Legion on the highway in Langley from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12, the day before Mother’s Day.

This is a huge sale filling the entire downstairs of the Legion and spilling out onto the porch. All prices are by donation to HOPE; whatever the buyer feels is fair to support the nonprofit program which benefits people facing special challenges in their lives. HOPE asks the community to be as generous as possible since this is one of their major fundraisers.

Donations are needed. However, from past experience, electronics don’t sell and please no clothes unless new or nearly new.

Volunteers would be helpful for setup May 11 or to work the sale May 12.

To volunteer or donate, contact 360-221-7656 or hope@whidbey.com.
