Oak Harbor DECA students Mike Washington, Ben Muyres and Mitchell Jackson qualified early for the NATIONAL DECA COMPETITION this year by taking first place in an online business simulation. They spent 30 days competing against more than 70 teams in a simulation called Virtual Business Sports. The win earned them a trip to compete with the best in the nation during the national convention in Salt Lake City. Last year, Washington and Muyres were on a team that finished first in the nation.
