Health Hero nominees sought

Do you know someone who volunteers his or her time to help others?

If so, you can do something simple to let that person know if he or she is appreciated. Nominate your favorite Good Samaritan for the Linda Lee Martens Health Hero Awards.

The Island County Joint Board of Health and the Community Health Advisory Board each year honors outstanding individuals and organizations that have volunteered to make life better for others through a contribution of time or services.

The deadline for entering is April 15. Nomination forms are available online at www.islandcountyahc.org/Page/26.
