Help keep Whidbey beaches clean

Volunteers are wanted to help clean up litter from winter storms off Whidbey Island beaches. Join others to help with these WSU Extension sponsored events.
Gloves and litter bags will be provided. Contact Scott Chase at schase@wsu.edu or 360-387-3443, ext. 258, for details, answers to any of your questions, and to get full directions as to where to meet and what to bring.
Beach cleanup dates and times:
Thursday, Feb. 9: Keystone Spit (west entry): 10 a.m. to noon; Keystone Spit (east entry), 1 to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 14: Fort Casey State Park (begin at campground entry to beach), 1 to 4 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 23: Joseph Whidbey State Park, noon to 2:30 p.m. (gravel parking at the end of West Crosby and West Beach roads).
